Challenge
Missouri Foundation for Medical Research (MoFMR) was struggling for local donation and sponsorship in mid-Missouri area. Little prior history of the organization's integrated marketing efforts limited the scope of donation channels.

Insights
The University of Missouri Hospital dominated the local donors' pocket, making it difficult for other medical-related foundations to make progress. However, Columbia, Mo. has more than 5,000 veteran residents, but the veteran nature of the MoFMR has never been utilized as a marketing tool.

Solution

Event Fundraiser: We proposed to hold an annual golf event to attract high-income residents to donate to the foundation. In the form of event sponsorship, we estimated the event could raise nearly $30,000 annually.

Business Sponsor Packet: By distributing a well-designed business sponsor handbook, we expect a significant increase of the MoFMR's awareness in the local community.

PR: Additional media exposure on local media outlets, such as Columbia Tribune adn KOMU.
